Arrest Made In Deer Lake Death

A suspicious death in Deer Lake First Nation has led to a charge of aggravated assault.

Nishnawbe Aski Nation Police say officers were called to a home in the community shortly after 2 Saturday morning about a person in medical distress.

Police would find 37-year-old Lee Controy Kakekagumick dead inside the home.

Arrested was 35-year Lenroy Kakegamic.

The exact cause of death has not been released.
