Hydro One says most home in the region affected by power outages last night should be reconnected later this morning.
At last report about a thousand homes are still without electricity in the Kenora and Dryden areas following a severe rain storm last night.
At it’s height, almost four thousand homes were without power.
In the Kenora area there are just under 200 still without electricity and 700 in the Dryden area all the way up to Pickle Lake.
Hydro One says power should be restored by 11 this morning.
