Arson Ruled in Pikangikum School Fire

2-young males have come forward to confess responsibity for setting the community school in Pikangikum on fire.
However, Red Lake OPP say the accused can’t be charged because they are under the age of 12 and can’t be held criminaly responsible.
The school, which housed grades junior kindergarted to Grade 12, burnt to the ground over the weekend.
The community doesn’t know if or how students will be able to finish their school year and Kenora MP Roger Valley is urging the Conservatives to act on a promise to build a new school.
