Valley wants Pikangikum school rebuilt soon

The O.P.P. says they have identified two youth in connection with the fire that destroyed the school on the Pikangikum First Nation.

However, Because they are under the age of 12 they cannot be charged with any criminal offense.

In the meantime, Kenora M.P. Roger Valley says there is an urgent need to rebuild the school as soon as possible.

Police say the two youth confessed to burning down the
school.

They cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
