Assault and Sexual Assault in Red Lake

Red Lake OPP had their hands full with two reports of assault last Friday.
Police say a woman attended the OPP Detachment and told officers that she had been sexualy assaulted at a local residence.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of a 57-year-old Red Lake resident.
OPP were also notified that a man had allegedly assaulted his common law spouse.
Police found a historical assault against the same person.
A 57-year-old Madsen man faces 2-charges of assault.
