The Town of Atikokan has started the yearly budget process and already
a number of problems jump out.
Mayor Dennis Brown says his main concern is the District Services
Board finances, especially following a recent arbitrator’s award for Land
Ambulance workers.

$500,000 for capital projects.
He adds he won’t settle for a tax hike anywhere above 4%.
