The Atikokan Generating Station has restarted, providing power to Northwestern Ontario once again.
The plant was shut down by an explosion and fire on December first.
Officials say they wanted to ensure the plant was repaired in a timely but safe manner and note a number of people put in a lot of hard work to complete the repairs.
The exact cause of the blast is still not known, however Ontario Power Generation suspects dust from wood pellets being stored at the facility was a factor.
