Atikokan Generating Station Opening Soon

The Atikokan Generating Station is expected to be up and running, “sooner rather then later”.
Ontario Power Generation Spokesperson Ted Gruetzner says damage to the plant was not as severe as originally believed, with no major structural damage.
Gruetzner says some internal work, such as rewiring, is needed and they hope to have repairs completed shortly.
The Station was hit with an explosion and fire on December first.
The cause is still under investigation.
