Atikokan Pushing For Museum

After a push to create a Canoe Heritage Museum in Atikokan fell through 5 years ago, efforts are again underway.
Jill Lewis has been put in charge of guaging public interest and securing support from local businesses and agencies.
Lewis says they are trying to determine how the Centre can be integrated into the rest of Atikokan.
She is also speaking to tourists for advice before a strategic plan is drafted in the coming months.
