Atikokan Winter Carnival Funding

The Town of Atikokan is preparing for its Winter Fitness Carnival
which is scheduled for February 5th to 12th.
Town Manager Warren Paulson says they plan to start working with area
community groups after receiving $10,000 in Provincial funding.
Paulson says the event is focused on Atikokan residents and helping
them get through the winter doldrums.
He says they want to encourage residents to participate in
outdoor winter activities and become physically fit.
