Ramsay-Animals #1

The McGuinty Government wants to improve the health and

safety of Ontario’s wildlife caretakers and animals.

Minister of Natural resources David Ramsay says the

proposed changes will help curb rabies from spreading to

other wildlife.

Caretakers would be able to take training to care for

rabie infected wildlife such as skunks, foxes and racoons.

The changs would also extend the distance between where

a young disease free animal is found, and where it is

released.
