The McGuinty Government is proposing changes to the way
orphaned or injured wildlife are looked after.
Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says the
proposed guidelines will improve conditions for caretakers
and animals.

Wildlife custodians will be able to take special
training, that will allow them to care for animals infected
with rabies.
The proposed improvements would also reduce the chance a
re-habilitated animal becomes nusicance wildlife.
