ATV Rider Crashes Through Ice

A close call for a Kenora man.
OPP say a 77-year-old was driving an ATV on Lake of the Woods Friday afternoon when he went through the ice.
The man was able to grab a screw driver and used it to climb out of the chilly waters and onto the ice.
He then rolled to shore and broke into a nearby cabin to seek shelter.
He was able to telephone for help and the OPP also responded after receiving an intrusion alarm from the camp.
The rider of the ATV was cold, but unharmed from his ordeal.
