Auditor’s Report #2

The Ontario Auditor General’s Report claims 9 million

dollars in Sex Offender Registry funding was diverted to

pay for other policing priorities.

The report found that hundreds of convicted sex

offenders haven’t registered with police as required.

NDP Leader Howard Hampton says it’s pathetic that the

McGuinty Government puts the blame on the OPP.

Q:”…underfunded.” 21 seconds

Hampton says ultimately the Provincial Government calls

the shots when it comes to what funding is used for.

The James McCarter’s report was released on Tuesday

afternoon.
