Dryden’s 3rd Annual “Walk with Me for Autism Awareness” is Saturday.
The 5-kilometre walk starts at 10:30am at the Memorial Arena.
Elaine Lavoie is one of the organizers of the event and she says the event is open to everyone and they aren’t requesting any pledges or requiring registration.
Lavoie says there will be face-painting, balloons, games and other activities starting at 9:30am.
Food will also be available.
Members of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs will also be in attendance.
Lavoie notes they will have a great volunteer team on site to answer any questions you have surrounding autism.
