Bad Boating Leads to Charges

A Kenora man has been charged with careless operation of a vessel after
a boat carrying 3 adults and an infant overturned on Lake of the Woods.
The O-P-P says the three adults suffered minor injuries when they
were thrown from a boat over the weekend.
Police say the driver had allegedly tried to overtake another
vessel at a high rate of speed and flipped over after hitting the
other boat’s wake.
Police say only the baby was wearing a life-jacket.
