Balanced Attack Gives Dryden A Huge Win

Goals from seven different players and a defence that allowed limited opportunities and the Dryden GM Ice Dogs are now up 2-0 in their SIJHL Semi-Final with Fort Frances.

After killing off an early penalty, the Ice Dogs scored three quick goals and never looked back in a 7-1 win Thursday night.

Jake Gushue, Chris Atanas, Kris Hamlin, Woody Galbraith, Trey Palermo, Cody Wardner and Jacob Bracko led the scoring parade.

Dryden GM outshot the Lakers 38-20.

Patrick Zubick picked up the win.

10 of the 20 Lakers shots came on 10 powerplay opportunities, where they scored there only goal on a 5-3.

Dryden GM now prepares to hit the road Saturday for Game 3 of the Best of 7 Semi-Final.
