A good news budget for the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Trustees have balanced the books with revenues surpassing $13 million.
Superintendant of Business Chris Howarth says some funding had to be transfered to cover deficits in the non-classroom area but they had no problems passing a balanced budget.
Capital projects include upgrading video-conferencing equipment, replacing classroom workstations and school renewal work.
The Board will also concentrate on making their schools handi-capped accessable.
Renovations are planned at several schools and there will also be an increase in teachers come September despite no increase in enrolment.
