funding for the Northwest Local Health Integration Network

Hospital.

2.4 percent increase in base funding, and 602-thousand

The hospital is still facing a 500-thousand dollar
deficit in 2008-2009 and 900-thousand dollars in 2009-2010.
Balcaen notes the only new funding announced yesterady
was for Small Hospitals such as Dryden, Riverside Health
Care in Fort Frances, Sioux Lookout and Atikokan.
