Dryden Police are investigating a case of arson at the Sandy Beach Ball Diamond pavilion. Someone smashed a number of windows and fires were set both inside and outside the building. The support post outside the pavilion was also damaged. Chief Rob Davis calls it a stupid act of vandalism and he’s seeking help from the public to solve the crime. Davis says a 5-pound fire extinguisher was set off in the building and is now missing. He notes the incident occurred sometime over the past two weeks. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dryden Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
