The City of Dryden is closing the Barclay Landfill next weekend.
Its life will come to an end on September 26th due to provincial direction.
Manager of Public Works and Engineering Blake Poole says the Landfill has reached its capacity and is no longer allowed to accept additional material.
Poole says there may be some disruptions but notes there are still options.
He stresses they will still be providing curbside pickup on a regular schedule and the hours haven’t changed for the Highway 502 Landfill site.
Highway 502 Landfill hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday to Saturday 8:00am-Noon
