Bargaining Continues For Corrections Officers

Corrections officers with the Ontario Public Service Employees Union are hoping to become a stand alone collective group.

A tentative contract has been reached with the province but the union stresses a lot of bargaining remains.

Spokesperson James Nowe says they still have to bargain their own wages and work hours.

Nowe says union members will vote on a central agreement on October 27th.
