Barrie Man in Custoday on Several Charges

Upsala was the final stop for a Barrie, Ontario thief.
OPP in Terrace Bay were contacted Sunday about an attempted purse snatching.
The 47-year-old man was located the following day on Highway 17 in the Upsala area.
The accused faces a long list of charges including assault, theft under $5,000, robbery, dangerous driving and theft of a motor vehicle.
He remains in custody.
