Another Kenora business is going solar thanks to funding

from the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines.

Fish Hawk Freightways located on an island on Lake of

the Woods will be using 20 thousand dollars to buy and

install a solar power system.

The new system will replace one gasoline generator and

two diesel generators.

The company provides landscaping, freight, salvaging,

and snowplowing services, as well as installing septic

systems and docks.

24 solar panels will be installed.
