The Minister of Northern Development and Mines Rick
Bartolucci is applauding his party for pitching in more
money for the Northern Ontario Winter Roads Program.
Rick Bartolucci says 3.5 million dollars will go towards
building over 28 hundred kilometres of winter roads in the
far north.

Bartolucci adds the seasonal construction of winter
roads plays an important role in the economic and social
well being of the far north.
The roads also link northern communities to the
provincial highway system, making it possible to move
goods and supplies throughout the winter.
