The Provincial Government is investing in the area’s
proposed laminated post and beam manufacturing facility.
The plan calls for the construction of a facility in Red
Lake as well as a manufacturing plant and head office in
Wabigoon Lake First Nation.
Minister of Northern Development and Mines Rick
Bartolucci says they’ll provide 386-thousand dollars to
revise the business plan, and finalize foreign investment
agreements.

The funding will also go to complete engineering and
technical work on the 70 million dollar business plan.
