Officials with the city of Dryden say they are making in-roads on snow clearing efforts in the community.
Manager of Public Works Blake Poole says all roads should be plowed by the end of the day and then they will tackle the sidewalks.
Some equipment problems are behind a delay in clearing the sidewalks.
Poole says the downtown core should be cleared by the weekend and then they can start knocking down snow banks.
Poole notes motorists should be patient at intersections, be aware and pull out slowly.
He’s thanking the public for their patience.
Poole is taking on the role of Manager after some restructuring in the Public Works, Engineering and Recreation department.
