Dryden residents should be aware of an out-of-town security company going door-to-door selling security systems.
CKDR has received reports of high pressure sales from Pinnacle Securities.
Dryden Police say the company is doing nothing illegal but officers also warn consumers to read the fine print and always remember buyer beware.
Checks on-line also show numerous complaints of high pressure sales.
The Better Business Bureau of Central and Northern Alberta also received previous complaints.
They warned citizens to be wary of representatives selling alarm systems door-to-door.
They advise people to be aware of a mandatory 10-day “cooling off” period, which is the amount of time a person can legally abort a contract without fear of penalty.
