Bear Complaints

Dryden Police say they have received numerous calls about nuisance bears this week.
Police would like to pass along a number of tips to help reduce bear problems.
Police say keep meat scraps in the freezer until garbage day, wash garbage cans on a regular basis and keep waste in containers that bears cannot open.
Police say keeping pet food inside, cleaning barbeque grills and picnic tables as well as leaving bird feeders empty will help solve problems now that bears have emerged hungry from their dens.
