Bear Wise Hotline Now Up and Running

The Ontario Government has launched the ‘Bear Wise’ program.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the initiative has improved
community safety and awareness since it was introduced 5-years ago.
Spokesperson Yolanta Kowalski says the MNR in Dryden, Kenora and Fort
Frances have yet to report a nuisance bear.
Province wide, the Bear Wise line has received 36-calls so far this
Spring.
