Crimestoppers Going With Text Messaging

Northwestern Ontario-Northern Minnesota Crimestoppers has a new tool
in its arsenal to fight crime.
The program is now accepting tips that are texted to its hotline.
Coordinator Gary Potter says it’s a good way for people to provide a tip
if they aren’t comfortable calling it in.
Tips can be text to Tip262. Once the tip is entered, it can be sent to
2-7-4-6-3-7 or CRIME.
