Sandy Lake First Nation is mourning the loss of a community leader.
Jonas Joseph Fiddler passed away on the weekend at the age of 80.
Ontario Regional Chief Stan Beardy says Fiddler was the catalyst for many of the positive initiatives that occurred in aboriginal communities across the northwest.
