A pioneer in the regional airline industry has passed away.
Harvey Friesen died suddenly on Sunday in Palm Springs, California.
Friesen started as a pilot with Bearskin Airlines and later went on to own the company with his brother Cliff.
Despite selling Bearskin in 2011 to Exchange Income Corporation, the Friesen brothers continued to run the airline.
He was 65.
