Bearskin Lake Man Charged Following Shooting

A 44-year-old man has been charged in connection with the shooting
death on the Bearskin Lake First Nation in Northwestern Ontario.
Nishinawbe-Aski Police were contacted Sunday after 40-year-old James
Makoop had been killed.
Rex John Day has been arrested and charged with criminal negligence
causing death and careless use of a firearm.
Day remains in custody.
