Bed Bug Study in Northwestern Health Unit Area

Don’t let the bed bugs bite!
That’s what the Northwestern Health Unit is trying to prevent as it has received Provincial funds to study the rate of bed bug infestations in our area.
Health Promoter Valdine McEwen says an on-line Questionnaire has been launched to determine if this area is suffering from a bed bug problem.
McEwen says they know that bed bugs exist in our communities, but they need more data to determine the extent of the problem.
She notes they will be gathering feedback until mid-November.
