Telephone service disruptions continue in the Vermilion Bay area.
Reports of an outage surfaced late Friday night and Bell officials now say a lightning strike severely damaged equipment and systems at one of its offices.
The company says some customers may still be experiencing disruptions to voice and Internet services.
Bell adds repairs are underway but they can’t confirm a restoration time.
