2017 was a banner year for Tbaytel.
The company has released its year-end report, with revenue totalling $191.4-million for the year.
Manager of Corporate Brand Communication Katie Crowe says one of the highlights was the launching of fibre services in Fort Frances and announcing plans to do the same in Dryden.
Crowe says that’s big news for Tbaytel as their wired footprint has been primarily in the Thunder Bay area for the past 100-years.
She notes they also expanded their reach across northwestern Ontario.
Crowe says last year they contributed $576,000 to 174-different organizations in 19-communities.
She stresses supporting local communities is one of their core values.
