Municipal Leaders Meeting In Kenora

A full agenda and a full house for the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association Conference.

The three day gathering begins Wednesday afternoon in Kenora.

NOMA Past President Dave Canfield says they have 180-delegates attending, noting they had to turn away some guest speakers because they had no more room.

Canfield says the event continues to grow each and every year.

Highlights on day one include an update on the site selection for an underground nuclear repository, with Ignace still in the running.

PC leader Doug Ford will also address delegates.
