Big Fine For llegal Moose Hunting

Three Ontario men have been fined close to 9 thousand dollars for illegal moose hunting.
The men were hunting Northwest of Nakina, and two of them shot a bull moose from a motorboat in a unit where they were not licensed to hunt.
The men then transported the moose to south-eastern Ontario.
A Ministry of Natural Resources officer asked the men where the kill site was which one of the men said it was within the unit where they were licensed.
That statement was found to be false.
