A Northern MP is wondering where’s the money for snowmobile trails in Northwestern Ontario.
The federal government handed over a cheque of 70 thousand dollars to a Quebec snowmobiling club.
Claude Gravelle of Nickel Belt is wondering why Ontario hasn’t received much.
Gravelle says that Kenora MP Greg Rickford seemed more interested in carbon tax then providing funding for something that attracts numerous visitors to the area.
About 168,000 Ontarians are members of a snowmobiling club, generating around $1.2 billion in revenue.
