Dryden Fire Service will be getting a new Aerial Truck next year.
Council has agreed to call tenders for the new unit which will replace a 1978 model which is now past its useful lifespan.
Even though the money will come out of the not yet approved 2003 budget, the City stands to save money with end of year deals & possibly dealer incentives.
Cost of replacing the current unit is about $750,000.
