Hunting Charges

A crackdown on hunting violations has resulted in several charges being laid by MNR Conservation Officers in the region.
178 hunters were contacted in the Sioux Narrows/Nestor Falls area during the recent blitz.
6 people were charged, among the offences, illegal storage of firearms, & improper game seal transfer.
1 investigation is also underway into complaints of illegal deer hunting in the area.
