The mining exploration company Platinex appears to have
pulled out of the Big Trout Lake First Nation.
Justin Duncan is with the Sierra Legal Defence Fund, and
says the company still has claims in the area.

The Sierra Legal Defence & The First Nation have written
the Minister of Northern Development and Mines, asking him
to consult with the community before mining operations are
allowed to wrok on their land.
