Big Trout Lake Launches Research Project

Fresh veggies are on the menu for residents living in Big Trout Lake First Nation.
The remote community, North of Pickle Lake, has received $34,000 to launch a greenhouse research project.
Individuals are building a small-scale commercial greenhouse and researching cost-effect ways to distribute vegetables across the North.
The money will also help the First Nation set up a distribution network
