Big Trout Lake Woman Killed

The two suspects in a murder case appeared in Thunder Bay court today. (Thursday)
Michelle Morris and Joanne Vivier are charged with first degree murder and have been remanded into custody until September 13th.
The charges were handed out after 30-year-old Verna Sturgeon of Big Trout Lake First Nation was found dead at a Thunder Bay Hotel.
Sturgeon was in the City to testify as a witness in a criminal trial.
