Biomass Boiler Almost On-Line in Fort Frances

Abitibi-Bowater in Fort Frances is close to conducting its first test of its new biomass boiler.
General Manager John Harrison says the first test will come as early as next week.
He expects the 85-million dollar biomass boiler to begin providing energy to the mill early in the new year.
Once complete, the mill will be generating steam from biomass, saving the Mill several millions of dollars in energy costs each year.
