Ice Dogs Win In OT

The Dryden Ice Dogs made it two straight wins at home with a 4-3 overtime win over the visiting Fort Frances Jr. Sabres. Once again the Ice Dogs gave up the lead in the third period after leading 3-1 after 2. But this time the Dogs scored the winner 3 minutes and 10 seconds into the extra frame. Garrett Nystedt notched the winner while Chad Liley had two and Justin Lightfoot added one. Sonny Albert scored the win between the pipes making 20 saves. Dryden will now travel to Sioux Lookout to face the Flyers Saturday night. CKDR will have the call beginning at 7:15 p.m. with the pre-game show. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
