Birth Control Recall

Health Canada has issued a recall of the Freya-28 birth control, with the specific lot numbers of 3739F001B and 3739F002B.
Shoppers Drug Mart in Dryden confirms that they do sell that brand of birth control, while Pharmasave says they do not carry it.
The recall is due to a placebo pill being found in place of one of the regular hormone pills.
A normal pack of Freya-28 should have three rows of active (white) pills and one row of placebo (green) pills.
Health Canada says Freya-21 packs are not affected.
Anyone with questions or concerned is asked to contact their local Northwestern Health Unit.
