A tough loss for the Dryden Ice Dogs in Thunder Bay.
The Dogs couldn’t hold on to a 2-1 third period lead, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Fort William North Stars Wednesday night.
BJ McLellan provided all of the scoring for Dryden.
The game was tied late in the third when the Ice Dogs were given a lengthy 5 on 3 powerplay advantage.
Following a third Stars penalty, Jordan Davis broke down the far wing and potted the winner shorthanded.
Fort William outshot Dryden 34-28 and Josh Baker suffered the loss.
In other SIJHL action, the K&A Wolverines defeated the Wisconsin Mustangs 5-2.
