Blind Low Vision #2

The Northwestern Health Unit wants to introduce a blind

low vision program to the Kenora Rainy River District.

Spokesperson Debbie Cousineau says the report will state

how many kids are in need of the program’s services.

Cousineau says the initiative will provide early

intervention for children who are blind or have low vision.

Once the report is handed into the Ministry May 31st,

blind low vision funding is expected to be announced for

the program.
